The subconscious mind will accept your beliefs and your convictions. It is like the soil; it will accept any seed that you deposit in it, whether it is good or bad. Remember: Anything that you accept as true and believe in will be accepted by your subconscious mind, and brought into your life as a condition, experience, or event. Ideas are conveyed to the subconscious mind through feeling. We will use an illustration: The conscious mind is like the navigator or man at the bridge of a ship. He directs the ship, and signals orders to the men in the engine-room which consists of all of the boilers, instruments, gages, etc. The men in the engine room do not know where they are going; they follow orders. They would go on the rocks if the man on the bridge issued faulty or wrong instructions, based on his findings with the compass, sextant, or other instruments. The men in the engine-room obey him, because he is the director. They do not talk back to the captain; they simply carry out orders. The captain is the master of the ship; his orders are followed out; likewise, your conscious mind is the captain, the master of your ship. Your body and all of your affairs represent the ship. Your subconscious mind takes the orders you give it based upon your belief and suggestions accepted as true.
OMAR - You can't escape DEATH!
“One day a troubled Arab slave named Omar cried, ’Master, oh master, give me your fastest horse. I’ve seen the face of Death… I have seen it in my dreams, and I know death is coming. Let me ride in order that I might escape it and survive.’ Openly concerned for his slave, his master begrudgingly complied and gave him his fastest charger. Unwittingly, the poor man had reasoned that if he could ride all day and night, he could live to see yet another day. So Omar mounted the horse and rode. He rode the first day as well as the next without stopping for food or drink. Finally, just before sunset on the third day and at the point of exhaustion, Omar stopped. The road he had traveled had suddenly divided into seven trails, from which he had to choose. Hoping to choose wisely, Omar set his sights upon the center trail. After a few hours ride, he thought poorly of his decision and switched to the path on his right. From there he traveled for a few hours more before pulling his horse up short and switching to the road on his left. This wavering continued until he had rode six trails. Now, in a last-ditch effort, the slave embarked on the final path, where less than 100 yards away in the center of the road, standing boldly, was the face of Death. Glaring straight ahead, Death bellowed out, ’Omar, Omar where have you been? For three days I’ve waited for you. What has taken you so long?’
“You see, counselor,” Malcolm X concluded. “There lies the moral to the story. You can run and you can hide; you can twist and you can turn. You can waste what little precious time you have on this planet. But it won’t do you any good. Death is something that no one can escape. You cannot leave this earth alive, so there’s no use in worrying about it. Each of us should make the most of our lives. We should embrace our dreams, give life our best, and be as happy and successful as our spirit desires.”
Ezekiel 36:24-28
24 “‘For I will take you out of the nations; I will gather you from all the countries and bring you back into your own land. 25 I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your impurities and from all your idols. 26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. 27 And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. 28 Then you will live in the land I gave your ancestors; you will be my people, and I will be your God."
The GAME of LIFE!!
Most people consider life a battle, but it is not a battle, it is a game. It is a game, however, which cannot be played successfully without the knowledge of spiritual law, and the Old and the New Testaments give the rules of the game with wonderful clearness. Jesus Christ taught that it was a great game of Giving and Receiving. "Whatsoever a man soweth that shall he also reap." This means that whatever man sends out in word or deed, will return to him; what he gives, he will receive. If he gives hate, he will receive hate; if he gives love, he will receive love; if he gives criticism, he will receive criticism; if he lies he will be lied to; if he cheats he will be cheated. We are taught also, that the imaging faculty plays a leading part in the game of life. "Keep thy heart (or imagination) with all diligence, for out of it are the issues of life." (Prov. 4:23.)
Autonomy - Free Yourself!!!
Our personal freedom is sometimes defined by the manner in which we respond to invasion, violation and emotional challenge. It takes a certain power to express ourselves in the midst of adversity. It we don't stand up for ourselves in a challenging situation, it is easier to lapse into the common emotional trap of being a "victim". Victims do not exist unless we have defined one or two other role players: "saviors" and/or "persecutors," both of whom need victims to stay alive. This holy trinity of emotional game playing can be creatively destroyed by simply choosing to save ourselves and/or providing our own punishment by playing the game intentionally. Emotions can be expressed in a playful spirit by remembering, it's just a game.

HUMANS....
Every human life form is totally and completely occupied with itself. Even if you appear to be the center of someone else’s activities, it is still the person and his preoccupations which are the real center. Never forget this, no matter how interested someone seems in you. They are interested in how you fit—or might fit—into their food chain.Never be fooled by people who sacrifice themselves for you. Without their so-called sacrifice, they would be isolated, depressed or feel utter emptiness. ~C.S. Hyatt~
Don't Fall For The Bullshit Game They Like To PLAY!!!
Posted by Heather: Adjunct college professor, Illinois
After being raised in a family with a strong work ethic and being drilled from an early age to study hard, work hard, invest money, etc., I will teach my children the opposite. Do what you want—and don't spend one minute "paying your dues" or "proving" yourself to an employer. This is a scam. You are either paid fairly—by your own standards, not theirs—from day one or you never will be. The moment you stop enjoying your job, quit—because they certainly won't hesitate to fire you on a whim. There is no such thing as "loyalty." Don't waste your youth "building your resume." Go have fun and let life develop as it may. Working for a living simply does not pay—and to exert any effort whatsoever above and beyond what you are being compensated for is to be complicit in your own exploitation.
